Style A
Style A spur gears are flat gears with no hubs.
Style B
Style B spur gears have a hub projecting from one side.
Style C
Style C spur gears have a hub on each side of the face.
Web Style
Web style spur gears may have no hubs, hubs on one side or a hub on each size. Hub style spur gears typically have the web configuration to reduce weight and may also contain several holes in the web section to further reduce weight.
